Meet Doris Carolina Báez

Doris Carolina Báez is a Clinical Psychologist graduated from the Rafael Urdaneta University, in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She has a specialty in Child Behavior Therapy at the Center for Psychiatric, Psychological and Sexological Research in Venezuela and obtained her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Carlos Albizu University, Miami, FL.
Her area of specialization also addressed Play Therapy and Neurofeedback as support tools for her professional practice.
She has given workshops for children on different topics such as Self-esteem, Social Skills, Conflict Resolution and Anxiety among others, to help them achieve a balance on a mental and emotional level.
She also teaches courses and workshops for parents and adults, providing tools for personal growth and better communication and interrelation in family dynamics.
She offers conferences in collaboration with different organizations, including Mamas en Victoria, María Visión TV, and has participated as a speaker in spiritual retreats in Miami, FL.
Among them are: The Psychology of Forgiveness; Self-esteem under the eyes of God; Personal growth workshop (Emergency Kit for Moms); How to resolve disagreements between Parents; Sibling rivalry.
She has practiced for more than twenty-five years through her private practice and is currently the author “Me Pasó a Mí: las batallas que lograron el milagro,” a book that narrates in detail a very significant part of her life, with the purpose of continuing to help those who need it.
